Hello. My name is Silvana Massolo and I'm a Partner, Director of Digital and Social Media at Inspire Agency in Dallas, TX. I was born in Lima, Perú and moved to Miami, FL when I was eleven. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and consider myself a social media-obsessed bicultural Latina in a male-driven marketing world; working to break the glass ceiling and empower others along the way. I'm fascinated by the power of social media and how it can impact your business.
Social Media provides brands with the tools (i.e. platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) to become a consumer's friend, and as a friend, provide them with advice, experiences, and offers/coupons to help earn their trust and increase sales in a cost-efficient and trackable way.
I have 15 years of experience developing strategies inclusive of digital and social media tactics. My career started in account management with clients from diverse categories such as: travel, finance, education, auto, and insurance. I was an integral part of the development of integrated campaigns. Account management sparked my interest in strategy, consumer behavior, and analytics. My focus on social media and digital strategies, combined with my experience in traditional advertising, have helped both advertising agencies and brands develop and implement successful campaigns.
In my advertising career I've worked at MARCA Miami, Nobox, Alma DDB, and now Inspire. Having the experience of working at small to medium privately owned agencies, as well as at a renowned agency from one of the largest advertising networks in the world (Omnicom Group), has armed me with the knowledge and credibility to lead brands from all sizes to success. I'm passionate about my work and how it can impact and influence people and your brand.
Last, but certainly not least, I am a proud Panther from Florida International University. I graduated in 2004 with a bachelor degree in Advertising and a minor in Marketing. I am also a graduate from Broward College, where I obtained my Associate of Arts in Mass Communication.
